Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellation & Refund Policy
At BokTickets (boktickets.us), we strive to provide a seamless travel experience. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the cancellation of flight bookings and the processing of refunds. By using our services, you agree to the terms listed below.
BokTickets acts solely as an intermediary agent between the traveler (the "Customer") and the service providers (Airlines). We do not own or operate any aircraft or air services. All bookings are subject to the specific Terms of Carriage and Cancellation Policies of the respective airline.
Voluntary Cancellations: Cancellations made by the customer are subject to airline penalties and a BokTickets administrative service fee.
Involuntary Cancellations: If an airline cancels a flight, changes a schedule, or fails to operate a flight for any reason, the airline’s policy regarding "Force Majeure" or "Schedule Change" will apply. BokTickets will assist the customer in seeking a refund or rebooking, but the final decision rests with the carrier.
In accordance with US Department of Transportation regulations, for flights involving a US airport booked at least seven (7) days prior to the scheduled departure, customers may:
Cancel their reservation within 24 hours of booking without penalty subject to the specific airline’s implementation of this rule.
Note: Some "Basic Economy" or "Promotional" fares may be excluded from this rule by certain carriers. BokTickets may charge a small administrative processing fee for 24-hour voids.
Non-Refundable tickets: Most discounted and promotional fares are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, the airline may issue a "Future Flight Credit" (minus any change fees) instead of a cash refund.
Refundable Tickets: If you purchased a fully refundable fare, the refund will be processed back to the original form of payment after the airline approves the claim.
Ancillary Fees: Fees for seat selection, baggage, and priority boarding are generally non-refundable once the service provider has confirmed them.
Agency Processing: Once a refund request is received, our team will review and submit it to the airline within 3-5 business days.
Airline Processing: Airlines may take anywhere from 7 to 30 business days (and in some cases longer for international carriers) to process the funds.
Bank Processing: Once the airline releases the funds, your financial institution may take an additional 3-7 days to reflect the balance in your account.
BokTickets charges a non-refundable administrative service fee for the following actions:
Standard Cancellation: $30 - $100 per passenger (depending on the route).
Name Corrections/Changes: Subject to airline approval and agency processing fees.
Paper Ticket Handling: Actual shipping costs plus $25.
Please note: Our agency service fees are independent of airline penalties and are non-refundable even if the airline approves a full refund of the base fare.
If you do not show up for your flight and do not notify the airline or BokTickets at least 3 hours prior to departure, the ticket is considered "No-Show." Most airlines automatically forfeit the entire value of a "No-Show" ticket, and no refund or credit will be issued.
All flight changes are subject to:
The fare difference between the original ticket and the new ticket.
The airline’s change penalty.
BokTickets’ rescheduling service fee.
